In cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, The department of Biotechnology organized a lecture entitled “Obesity and the Risks of Breast Cancer” in the presence of a number of students, researchers, and those concerned with medical affairs.
The lecture aims to define breast cancer as a malignant tumor that begins in the breast cells and often affects women after the cells grow abnormally and out of control. Breast cancer is one of the leading health problems in the world. Diagnosing about one million cases each year is linked to obesity and an increased risk of infection breast cancer
